Good Samaritans Donate To Give Cancer Survivor New Teeth

Alex Hunter is 16 years old and a cancer survivor. This past July, all of his teeth had to be removed due to chemotherapy side effects and his health insurance wouldn’t cover his dentures.

To get the dental procedure done out of pocket, Alex’s parents needed $11,000 which they didn’t have. They decided to toss a fundraiser page up online with a $11,000. Thanks to the massive response from good samaritans on the Internet, the goal was met within ONE DAY.

Then it was off to the dentist! After a little over an hour to fit the dentures, the dental procedure was over and Alex had a brand new set of teeth that he described as “perfect”. Check out that smile!

Alex was extremely grateful for the donations! Enjoy those new teeth like a boss!

About Sascha Brian

Sascha Brian
Known around here as "the German", I am indeed German, but have also spent some time traveling the world. With 10 years of my life spent in the United States, rumor has it that I may even know how to grill a great burger. I don't wear socks with sandals any longer, but I still drink beer and eat sauerkraut like a German. When I'm not writing about motivational and inspirational people on Like A Boss, I can usually be found lifting things up and putting them back down in my garage gym (a.k.a. the dungeon).
