A US Marine Veteran Goes To Canada To Guard War Memorial Like A Boss

After the horrible terrorist attack in Canada which took to life of CPL. Nathan Crillo, a US Marine Veteran by the name of Major “Fox” Sinke felt like it was his civic duty to travel to the National Memorial and make sure it was guarded from further attacks. Sinke is a recipient of three bronze stars, five purple hearts, and many other valiant awards. The highly decorated Ex marine traveled to the memorial in hopes that Canadian and American veterans can stand united in the face of terrorism.

“There are those of us who understand what’s happening and we’re not gonna lie down for it,” he said. “Not gonna happen. That’s basically why I’m here. I’m just here to make my own little personal damn statement.”

Here are some of Sinke’s records while serving in the Military.

He has since received several phone calls threatening his life, this is how he responded. Sinke said he received at least two phone calls on Tuesday from people who screamed at him in Arabic and then hung up. “The only words I recognized were ‘kill you,’ because I’ve heard them before,” he said. When Sinke told police about the phone calls, he added, “I promise you this: If they come here, they’ll die here” Words from a true boss!

About Sascha Brian

Sascha Brian
Known around here as "the German", I am indeed German, but have also spent some time traveling the world. With 10 years of my life spent in the United States, rumor has it that I may even know how to grill a great burger. I don't wear socks with sandals any longer, but I still drink beer and eat sauerkraut like a German. When I'm not writing about motivational and inspirational people on Like A Boss, I can usually be found lifting things up and putting them back down in my garage gym (a.k.a. the dungeon).
